Pasta Feather with Cashew Pesto with Yummi Nuts Cashew with Salt
Ingredients
- For the pesto:
- 2 cups fresh basil
- ¼ cup cashew seed
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 6 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- For the pasta:
- 1 package of feather pasta
- ¾ cup of the water where you cooked the pasta
- Parmesan cheese for serving
- Yummi Nuts Cashew with Salt
Preparation
- For the pesto:
- Step 1: Place all the ingredients in a food processor and process until you have a homogeneous puree.
- Step 2: Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- For the pasta:
- Step 1: Cook the pasta according to the directions on the package.
- Step 2: Drain it and reserve ¾ cup of the water where you cooked it.
- Step 3: Mix the pasta with the pesto and add ¼ cup of water.
- Step 4: Stir it slowly; little by little add the water to integrate it well.
