Tilapia with Peanut Crust with Yummi Nuts Peanut with Lemon

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup canola oil
  • ½ cup leek thinly sliced
  • ¼ cup of grated ginger
  • salt to taste
  • 2 tablespoons of flour
  • 1 egg beaten with salt
  • ½ cup chopped Yummi Nuts with Lemon
  • 2 tilapia fillets
  • 4 teaspoons of rice vinegar
  • black pepper to taste

2 tablespoons of flour
1 egg beaten with salt
½ cup chopped Yummi Nuts with Lemon
2 tilapia fillets
4 teaspoons of rice vinegar
black pepper to taste

Preparation

  • Step 1: Heat the oil in a skillet over medium high heat.
  • Step 2: Fry the leek and ginger until golden brown. Remove from heat and drain on butler paper, reserve the pan and oil.
  • Step 3: Place the flour, egg, and ground peanuts in different deep bowls.
  • Step 4: Season the tilapia fillets with salt and pepper. Cover them with flour, then with egg, and finally with the chopped peanuts.
  • Step 5: Fry the steaks in the same skillet for 4 minutes on each side over medium high heat.
  • Step 6: Serve the steaks on a plate, add the leek and ginger, and drizzle the vinegar over the top.
